A beautiful spot on the St. Mary's River! Electric and water hook ups. Wifi! Peaceful! Hot showers! Friendly hosts! An enjoyable experience & Washer toss was fun.    - Charlene Archibald, July 2017

Brand new campsite, quiet and relaxing place (a)long the river with eagles, fisherkings, and ducks.  Near stores.  Friendly staff.  Only one free shower for the moment, but they are working on it.  Not overcrowded at the moment. - Olivier Deprez, July 2017

Happy to be back at Rivers Edge Camping for the weekend.  Close to home, so a quick and easy way to enjoy camping, without the long drive to and from the campground.  Had another nice weekend sitting along the St. Mary's River.  Great view of the water and loved to hear the sound of the water and watching the eagles flying overhead.  Riversedge Camping is close to stores, restaurants, banking, drug store, liquor store, gas stations, hospital and historic Sherbrooke Village.  Riversedge Camping is now our regular place to go camping.  It is a new campground and the owners/workers are always working to make improvements to the campground and open to suggestions to help make your stay and camping experience more enjoyable.  Large campsites with clean fire pits.  Very reasonable camping prices.

Went camping at Rives Edge Camping in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia. Very nice place to stay.  Very large and clean campsites/trailer sites with fire pits situated along the St. Mary's River.  Had a great weekend and attended the Truck Pulls in the village.  Friendly owners and staff - they even personally drove the campers to the local dance.  Played washer toss and had a relaxing weekend camping.  Riversedge Camping is minutes away from the stores/restaurants/banking, etc. and also within walking distance, so if we needed anything, they were just minutes away.  Great setup for camping - highly recommended.

Rivers Edge Camping in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia is a locally owned and operated family campground.  As a new campground, it is clean and well maintained.  Reasonable rates and close to banking, drug store, restaurants, gas stations and more.  Within walking distance to the Historic Sherbrooke Village.  Campsites/trailer sites are along the St. Mary's River, famous for salmon fishing.  Enjoyed watching the eagles flying over the campground.  Great for family camping.

Spent the weekend camping at the brand new Rivers Edge Camping in Sherbrooke, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia.  Really enjoyed our stay.  Very relaxing and enjoyed the view of the beautiful St. Mary's River right along the campground site.  So nice to hear the sound of the river during the day and during the quiet of the night.  Had a great time playing washer toss.  Friendly owners and staff that were very knowledgeable about events and activities going on in the village.  Very clean facilities.  Within walking distance to Catholic Church, banking, Shopper's Drug Mart, Post Office, Service/Gas Station, Restaurants, Liquor Store and Historic Sherbrooke Village.  Looking forward to coming back to Riversedge Camping soon.

Big Leaf

I was travelling and found this picture perfect Riversedge Campground, THAT IS BIKER FRIENDY.  There is plenty of cleared spots for camping, trailers, I found myself settled along the rivers edge, complete with fire pit, I truly enjoyed my stay, the owner Jimmy and his wife (Marla) made my stay well worth the stop.  I found the hospitality to be top notch, as they even had me over for a BBQ dinner.  They do have a place for hot shower, which I took advantage of.  The Riversedge (Campground) is filled with trout and salmon, and I did manage to toss a few casts.  This beautiful campground is nesting in Sherbrooke, NS.  Also had the chance to attend a bikers ride for cancer the same weekend.

Once again thanks Jimmy for your hospitality.  I truly look forward to my next years stay with family and friends.  God bless, Your biker friend Hippie.
